Marriage Course

Welcome to the Marriage Course Online! The Marriage Course is a series of seven sessions, designed to help couples invest in their relationship and build a strong marriage. The course is free of charge. We encourage you to treat this as your date night and set aside a regular time each week to watch a session, exactly as though you were attending in person, except that you will be able to do so from the comfort of your own home! Most importantly, you will not be asked to discuss anything about your relationship with anyone but your partner. 

All you need to do is to register for the course here and we will mail you two copies of the Study Journal as our gifts to you and the link for you to connect to the virtual course. Please complete your registration by Monday, June 15 for you to receive the Study Journal before the course starts. Contact Mari at alpha@hfccmd.org for any questions.

WHO IS THE MARRIAGE COURSE FOR?

The course is designed for any couple with any background with or without Christian faith and in any stage of their relationship. 

ABOUT THE MARRIAGE COURSE ONLINE

The Marriage Course is a series of seven sessions, designed to help couples invest in their relationship and build a strong marriage. The course helps couples navigate the modern challenges of marriage.

Each session lasts for about 2 hours and features leading experts, teaching content, and stories from around the globe. 

You will not be asked to discuss anything about your relationship with anyone but your partner.

OVER SEVEN SESSIONS YOU WILL EXPLORE:

· The Art of Communication

· Resolving Conflict

· The Power of Forgiveness

· The Impact of Family

· Good Sex

· Love in Action

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The course runs exactly as it would be if you were attending in person, except that you will be able to do so from the comfort of your own home - where you can replicate your own date night:

· Each session lasts for 1 hour 55 minutes, half of which will be for your conversations, and we would encourage you to complete each session in one sitting, and to set a regular time aside each week to complete a session.

· Don’t forget the candles, snacks, drinks, older kids in another room and the younger ones in bed. Try to make it feel as special as possible. 

WHEN DOES IT START?

The course will start on Monday, June 22 at 7 pm.

Please register by June 15 to receive your copies of the Study Journal before the course starts. 

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE SIGN UP?

Once you register, we will send you the link for you to connect to the online course.  

We will be running the course free of charge.
